5 Rejuvenating Detox Bath Recipes That Will Leave You Feeling A New Wo

I don't know about you, but bath time is my favourite time! There is nothing better than coming home after a long hard day and soaking in the tub with your favourite song on. Here I have compiled my 5 favourite bath detoxing recipes that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and amazing! So what are you waiting for turn on the taps, make a cup of sweet dreams bedtime cleansing tea,  and enjoy. 

1. Ginger Detox Bath

Ginger is a root that has endless health properties when you eat or drink it. It is an ingredient which can also be found in many of our products including TeaGuru. Ginger can be used in other ways to help the body, like making a ginger bath. Yeah you heard us right, a ginger bath! You can use ginger in different forms, you can either grate fresh ginger into the bath or just use powdered ginger. As you sweat out toxins, the ginger will leave you feeling energised and cleaner.  

Top tip: Run a ginger bath to kick the symptoms of an oncoming cold.


2. Baking Soda Detox Bath

Did you know you have an amazing detoxing ingredient stored in your kitchen cupboards? Baking soda makes a great detoxing device. By adding it to your bath you can de-stress yourself whilst having a nice long soak. Baking soda AKA sodium bicarbonate can be added to the bath to neutralise the chlorine that's been added to most city water sources. By adding 2-3 cups of baking soda to your bath the water will be purer and naturally cleansing. 



3. Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Bath

If you are not familiar with the benefits of apple cider vinegar, it's worthwhile having a look in to. You can benefit from its properties internally and externally. It can help with conditions such as arthritis and gout, as well as anything else caused by inflammation. So if you have experienced an injury whilst working out, the best thing you could do is to run yourself an apple cider vinegar infused bath. When pouring your bath, add 1-2 cups of pure apple cider vinegar. Soak in the tub for up to 30 minutes.

4. Sea Salt Detox Bath

This is one of the oldest bath detoxing bath remedies out there. It has been used for decades to help people relax. Not only does it make you feel more relaxed, the salt helps to pull toxins from your body, as well as provide amazing extra benefits to your skin. You want the all natural sea salt not the type that is iodised and sold in bulk. If you do this bath recipe regularly you will feel you have more energy at the start of the day. So if you do this before bed, and then have a mug of our daytime infusion in a morning,  you will be easily be able to cut caffeine from your diet.  

Top tip: This bath detox can reduce the appearance of redness on the skin if you suffer from blemishes.


5. Essential Oils Detox Bath

Did you know you can turn your bath into a sensory sensation just by adding some essential oils to it. If you're ever having a long day and you feel totally exhausted, then this is the bath for you. Peppermint essential oil is the cure for your fatigue! Essential oils have it all covered for you, whether you feel, stressed, depressed, or just simply worn out, they have the answers.
