The Nutrient TeaTox Diary - Week 3

Hello again, :)

I'm half way through my TeaTox, and I feel more alive than ever! My core is looking solid and there is definitely a noticeable difference in my weight from when I first started in week 1.

I'm looking forward to the bank holiday this weekend, can't wait to let my hair down, I definitely deserve it. I've been cooking up a storm in the kitchen this week.

Here's what I've been making: 


Day 1: 

I need my stodge in the morning, I want something that's going to fill me up and keep me going all day. If you've been following my journey so far, you've probably noticed that I LOVE porridge: I like to mix it up with some banana chips, almonds, and chia seeds. I washed it down with a mug of my daytime infusion and I was good to go! So quick and simple. 

Day 2:

I was pushed for time today so I made this for my lunch, it tasted just as good as it looks! I literally threw it together after the gym, it took 2 minutes! So no excuses guys. It's amazing what you can create with a few eggs, some ham, and tomatoes. 

Day 3:

The midweek crunch doesn't effect me anymore, woke up with bundles of energy. Switched it up a little this morning and added some nuts to my porridge for some extra crunch. Roll on Friday!

Day 4: 

Had a such a busy day today, I don't know why but Thursdays are always manic. When I got home I was really craving some major stodge, but didn't want to deviate from my healthy eating just before the weekend. For tea I made chicken with heaps of veg. It was amazing! Washed down with my bedtime cup of tea, I will definitely sleep tonight. 

Day 5:

Hello weekend! I feel like I've had an amazing week this week, I have been super productive and really pushed myself at the gym. 

When I got home I wanted to fill my mouth with flavours so I made a warm balsamic kale, mushroom, and pepper salad with toasted pine nuts, it was divine. 

Day 6:

Kicking back today, not doing much just enjoying the long weekend :)

I made a light salad for lunch, I'm obsessed with feta cheese at the moment, I can't get enough of it. Cheese was my huge downfall, so feta is a nice treat for me. 

Day 7: 

Rounding off the week with one of my favourite dishes, sweet potatoe salad. 

Felt like treating myself to some new gym gear today. I wouldn't normally go for the colour red, but I'm loving it, I feel like a new woman. What do you guys think?  

I've definitely noticed a difference in my weight this week, my pants are a little slack so that's always a good sign. Looking in the mirror I feel so much more confident than I did 3 weeks ago, and I'm finally beginning to get the solid core I always wanted.
