Kat's Teatox Journey - Week 1

Kat began looking into teatox-ing because she wanted to find a healthy way to detox her body. She was thrilled when she was recently voted to become one of our brand ambassadors for Nutrient Wise.

Since embarking on her teatox journey she has discovered a new way of living, that’s why she's super excited to be able to share her 6 week teatox experience with you! For the next few weeks she will blogging about  TeaGuru's effect, combined with the different exercises she's undertaking, and the food she's been putting in her body.

Here's her story:

(Week 1)

Hi, my name's Kat!

I'm a veterinary nurse from Manchester, 21, and this is my teatox journey with Nutrient Wise so far.

Day 1: 

My goodies arrived! 6 weeks worth of TeaGuru, and 60 capsules of Forskolin (helps you boost your metabolism & designed to suppress your appetite).

Here's me before I started...

Before setting off to work, I kicked off the day with a 'daytime infusion' cup of tea (which tastes great by the way), and a hearty porridge breakfast with grapes and almonds. 

After work, I decided to go shopping and get some healthy food in, so I could start planning my meals. 

Day 2: 

For breakfast I had porridge with chia seeds, and mixed nuts. 

Feeling motivated, I hit the gym!

I finished today off with a scrumptious tea! I had an omelette with red peppers, tomatoes, avacado, and sweet potato! It was delicious. Having my 'bed time cleanse' now before bed. 

Day 3: 

This morning I woke up feeling energised and rested. 

I had my usual breakfast of tea and porridge, but I mixed it up a little with some chia seeds, and banana chips.

For lunch I had a greek salad, mixed nuts, and grapes. 


And finished the day off with this masterpiece. 

Kale salad, roasted asparagus, sweet potato, and chicken wrapped in parma ham. Yum!

Day 4: 

I've never really been a morning person, but today I definitely have a clearer head. I actually wanted to get out of bed this morning for a change!

I made the most of my energy and hit the gym again before work. 

My healthy tuna salad for lunch was nice and light on my stomach and I'm feeling great. 

For dinner I made duck, roasted vegetables, and rice. 

Day 5: 

Had the best sleep ever last night, and don't feel tired or drowsy this morning.

Porridge for breakfast, absolutely loving chia seeds at the moment! I read the other day that they provide your body with a massive amount of nutrients, which is great because I definitely feel like my body is getting everything it needs at the moment to be at it's best. 

Another gym session today, really feel like I worked hard. 

Day 6: 

Made the most of today and went shopping to top up my cupboards so I am not tempted to deviate from my plan this weekend. 

For dinner I made tuna salad again, but this time I added some avocado. 

Day 7: 

For dinner tonight I made scrambled egg with tomatoes and sweet potato. 

To say like I feel like a new woman would be an understatement. I never imagined I would feel this good after just one week. 

I feel much better in myself, and there are already noticeable changes to my body. 

My stomach is flat! I feel strong and healthy!
