Why It Is Important To Look At Your Body With Eyes Of Love And Acceptance, Instead Of Disgust And Rejection.Jul, 09
You'll notice how much better you'll feel when your not making yourself feel bad for something you shouldn't feel bad about. Too often people forget that being healthy doesn't always necessarily mean just being in great shape and eating right (although this helps a lot). First, you have to accept your body if you truly want to make a difference. You have to start now. It doesn't matter where you are when your reading this, start with fear, start with doubts, start with pain, start and don't stop. Start where you are, with what you have, just start.
There's no denying it, 21st century living is hectic. Many of us waste our lives just trying to keep our heads above the water. This is not healthy. You must make yourself a priority, because at the end of the day you're your longest commitment. I know it may sound unrealistic to many of you but the smallest changes can make the biggest difference, and accepting who you are is the best move you can make towards being truly happy.
My body confidence comes from accepting i'm not perfect, but knowing I can be as sexy or fierce as I choose to be, regardless! Life is short and I can be all sorts of fabulous when I allow myself to truly shine. I was looking for someone to inspire me, motivate me, support me, keep me focused. Someone who would love me, cherish me, make me happy, and I realised all along I was looking for myself.
Here's why you should accept your uniqueness, drop the comparisons, and relax into your being:
1. Venturing Out Of Your Comfort Zone Makes Life Worthwhile And Interesting.
There is real magic in enthusiasm it spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment. You might be comfortable with your routine but there is no passion in routine. By daring out of your comfort zone, trying new things and making small changes to your lifestyle, you can reep massive rewards. Trust me on this one.
2. Your Value Doesn't Decrease Based On Someones Inability To See Your Worth.
Regardless of what you look like currently, or how you want to look, there will always be detractors everywhere, letting you know you should look different. This is Staci a quick trip to the comments reveals that plenty of guys decided it was their place to tell Staci they liked her better before. Staci told us:
“Why do I care what they think? I was unhealthy, my doctor told me I was unhealthy, and I was miserable. Now I’m happy and healthy. Thanks for the input though.” Happiness is being proud of yourself.
3. Fear Will Limit Your Ability To Live The Life Of Your Dreams
We're all going to die, we don't get much say over how and when, but we do get to decide how we are going to live so do it. Decide. Is this the life you want to live. Is this the best you can be, can you be stronger, happier, or healthier? Breathe in, breathe out, decide.
4. We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve.
The universe will configure around your best efforts. Happiness will happen when you are happy, if you go looking for it when you are not content with your own life, it can often be destructive. If you are looking for a healthy relationship, how can you expect someone to love you when you don't even love yourself? So feel free to date yourself for a while. Take yourself out to eat. Don't share your popcorn at the movies with anyone. Stroll around an art museum on your own. Fall in love with canvases. Fall in love with yourself. That's healthy.
